FO Friday…Finally

I love Fridays. They are the only weekday not filled to the brim with “musts”. So, today, I went off to the Chiropractor, then Knitting at Knitting Pretty. I got models for the two new hats there, so we finally have photos to share.

I find it sad and frustrating that no matter how hard I tried, I could not get a picture of the gorgeous color of this yarn. Malabrigo worsted; Whales Road colorway. Yummy soft and pretty, too. 🙂

Then, I decided to try to make a cowl with some Colinette Jitterbug that I bought in SanFransisco in August. The plan was to use it double stranded and just do a Mistake Rib all the way. After several inches, it became clear to me that it just wasn’t soft enough for me to want to put around my neck. But…it was so pretty that I just had to do something with it. So, I kept going and made it into a hat. I like it. Hope it’s intended owner does too.
