Big Fun

Last night we had some company. Some fun, noisy, rowdy company, at that! Johannes, this time the whole band, not just the drummer, dropped by to spend the evening with us. (okay, and to have somewhere to crash) After a dinner of hamburgers and other things that appeal to the young, we had some “strawberry shortcake” for dessert, and then the real fun began.

It was pretty nice to have a house full of young men again, as things have been kind of quiet here with only two of my boys left…

Picture this: eleven people (we got a few extras after 9) sitting around until after 11 pm playing Apples To Apples. (well ten, after Hubs got called in to work) Loud fits of laughter, groans, and comments flying fast and hard. I even got my way (finally) and snuck in a couple of rounds of Things, too. Ah…reminds me of the ‘good old days” when all my boys were home!
