A Lovely Day

We had a great afternoon/early evening out in Elk Grove on Saturday. The park there is huge and really very lovely. There are many mature trees for shade, a large ‘lake’, which even has two islands, and plenty of grassy areas with picnic tables. We settled in near the stage with my friend Celia, mother of Joe from A Curbside Ending, and Aaron, the other band member’s family.

I was pleased to plunk down a few dollars for the boys EP, which features six of their songs. I realized after we got home that I should have bought a few more for gifts and for folks who didn’t make to the park that day. Oh well. I’m pretty sure they’ll be happy to fill orders if we’ll cover the postage. “-)

Hubby Dearest and I did our bit for the local economy and purchased some delicious Mexican food for our ‘linner’ and I truly splurged, and got a cool, creamy, and very pretty Orange and Mango smoothie. Yum!
