Beach Retreat, Part Deux

Windsong was a very nice house which we rented for the weekend. It was four bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, nice backyard, one and a half baths, and a great view of the ocean. All the ammenties one could wish for were present, and perhaps best of all, cell phones don’t work there! Want a peek at the yard?

In addition to the lovely plants, flowers, seating, and wood burning stove, there were a few wind chimes…This one was note-worthy!

Saturday, several of the gals got up early and went down to the water for a walk. Those early-risers were rewarded with lovely tide-pools full of sea life. Word was there were too many starfish to count! I didn't get up and at 'em in time for that, but I did catch sight of a doe and her fawn outside…just walking down the street as cool as you please!

Well, I guess that will do for now, even though it was more photo than essay! I’ll try to finish up in one more post, with a nice mix of words and pictures. 🙂
