Friends are some the most wonderful things in the world. I dare you to argue with me about that!
My dear friend Elizabeth sent me a box of goodies, which arrived today. And though I knew the box was coming, I didn’t know when and I didn’t know all that it contained. Happy day…this box had books.

This one I knew was coming…
Today\'s Mail

And there were three others as well, all by Terri Blackstock, the Restoration Series.

What I didn’t really know was that there would be some tea in the package as well as the books.
Yummm….the label says ” Ostrfiesen SonntagsTee”. According to my best translation from the German, it claims to be an Assam with aroma. It smells….chocolaty! The taste, yes I tried some already, is hard to define, but even after brewing the hints of chocolate remain in the aroma. Thanks Elizabeth! I can hardly wait til July when we get to visit you in PA!

Elizabeth and I, Victoria, 2004

Included with the books and tea was this lovely poem. No author listed.

A Cup of Tea

When the world is all at odds

And the mind is all at sea

Then cease the useless tedium

And brew a cup of tea

There is magic in its fragrance

There is solace in its taste

And the laden moments vanish

Somehow into space

And the world becomes a lovely thing

There’s beauty as you’ll see

All because you briefly stopped

To brew a cup of tea.

Hope that you get a chance to rest up and read tomorrow!
