Today Hubby Dearest drove off to Murphy’s to pick up our youngest son from his Winter Camp. This might be Daniel’s last chance to go, so he made sure to get a picture of the kid with Moose, the great guy who is in charge of Camp Gilgal West.
While he was prowling around with the camera, Hubby happened accross this bumper sticker on the back of a white mini-van, and somehow he thought of me…not sure why…..
When they got home and showed me the pictures, we started to talk a little bit about camp and stuff, so of course I asked the kid if he had met any of a fellow knit-blogger’s kids while there. At first he didn’t think so, but then he figured out that he did. Then we talked some more and he figured out he had actually talked to the blogger herself! Shortly after that, Hubby connected a few dots and said, “hey, I bet that bumper sticker was on her van!” He he, we may be a little slow, but we get there eventually. Sad thing, I’ve still never gotten to meet this blogger. Sigh. What a small world we live in.
For those of you looking for actual knit content….good luck. That would mean actual knitting had occured, which is…not so much. The $100 scarf is headed to the frog pond any minute now. I’ve been sick and busy and un-inspired all week. But, just to make you happy I’ll throwout a picture of the pre-frogged scarf. May the next version be “the one”. I wanna be done with this and move onto something more fun.
That bumper sticker is a hoot! I love it!
